The hotel is quite small based on normal standards, but about average size for New York City standards. The rooms were going to be small and claustrophobic, but when I experienced issues with my card during payment, the staff was very friendly and welcoming all the time, making it a super clean hotel with great breakfast. The location is brilliant, being close to the Empire State building, Macy's, and Madison Square Garden, but was far too small for the number of guests. The dining had a few hot selections in addition to cereal, yogurt, bread, and fruit, although after 8:30 not much choice. The facilities were convenient to Madison Square Garden, Times Square, Seventh Avenue shopping, the Empire State Building, and for travelers entering the city from the south, the Lincoln Tunnel.
